In April Umpqua Bank donated 250 little piggy banks to CASA for the Change for Children fundraising campaign. Xtreme Grafx helped us tag our piggy banks with a CASA label and we sent them off at the annual CASA Ask Luncheon. Each guest was invited to take a piggy bank and fill it with change, however, our little piggy’s also like green. Other ideas include making it a family project or placing one in the office or workplace.
The filled bank can be returned to the CASA office or to Umpqua Bank in Albany or Lebanon where the money will be deposited into an account for CASA. The Bean Family responded immediately by bringing in a bucket of change. We are very grateful to them for kicking off our campaign with such a generous donation. Donated funds will help CASA volunteers serve children who are on our waiting list. If you would like to give your spare change to affect “change” in the life of a child please contact the CASA office to pick up a piggy bank.
